I used #40 roller chain on x and y axis and #35 chain on z axis and motor drive, used 200 pound die springs for tension converted hand torch also using roller chain made it very easy to make for floating head.Dealing with running our CNC machines with roller chain on the X/Y-axes and lead screw on the Z-axis, we chose this method due to functionality and cost effectiveness.
